 GCAT RITUAL OUTLINE

Here is a quick guide to what you must do before you set out to do any ritual work.

1.      Purify yourself:  This step is very important and if you’re experiencing weak results with your magick, more than likely you’ve been overlooking this step.  Nothing will be fully accomplished unless you make yourself a spiritual blank canvas.  An excellent purification ritual can be achieved with water and blessed sea salt alone or with oils for your specific work.  This is where you can use your special spiritual body cleansers or spiritual soaps as well.  If you can’t take a bath, then shower.  If you can’t do either, then at the very least wash your hands.

2.      Anoint yourself: After you’ve made yourself into a blank canvas with the water and salt and stripped yourself of any negativity clinging onto your aura, you need to draw the right energies back into to you and power yourself up.  This is where you anoint your pulse points, palm centers , feet and appropriate chakra points for the work you want to do.

3.      Sacred Space:  At this point you may decide whether or not to cast a circle of protection.  Newbies should cultivate this habit, Oldies either do this religiously or let the type of work dictate if they need a formal circle or not.  You can also bless your space with a mixture of water and sea salt and asperge your magickal working area before Step 4…

4.      Sage and/or Light Incense:  This is where you set the magickal mood as our powerful sense of smell can get us into the perfect mindset needed to work our magick.  If you don’t like smoky scents, then use an oil burner.  I mix water with just a bit of oil because in addition to stretching the oil, it will keep it from catching fire.

Now, from here on out this is where your own creativity comes through based on what type of spell you’re working, but steps 1-3 are mandatory for setting the appropriate stage.

Good luck on your magickal workings!  Blessed be!

Xoxo
